The Campuhan River Ritual is a traditional purification experience held in nature at the meeting point of two rivers in Ubud.

For generations, places where rivers meet have been regarded as significant places for purification, reflection and renewal. Surrounded by the natural energy of flowing water, this experience offers an opportunity to step away from everyday life, reconnect with nature and take part in a meaningful spiritual ritual.

 

The experience

 

The ritual takes place directly at the meeting point of two rivers in the natural surroundings of Campuhan.

Guided by Vas with care and respect, you will take part in a traditional purification ritual in the water. The experience is an opportunity to slow down, become present and connect with the natural environment around you.

 

During the ritual, you will also have the opportunity to hold a personal intention or make one heartfelt wish. This is not a performance or something you need to understand or believe in a particular way. The experience is about presence, humility and your own connection with nature.

 

A meaningful connection with nature

 

Water is an important element of purification in many spiritual traditions. At Campuhan, the meeting of the two rivers creates a unique natural setting for reflection and renewal.

 

For many people, entering the river and taking part in the ritual becomes a powerful and memorable experience — particularly during times of change, when beginning a new chapter, or when simply seeking time to reconnect with themselves and nature.

The ritual takes place at Campuhan, Ubud.

You may choose to:

• Meet us at RANDIM BALI, or

• Meet Vas directly at Campuhan Bridge, Ubud

Exact meeting arrangements will be confirmed when you book.

 

What to bring

 

Please bring:

• A change of dry clothes

• A towel

 

Drinking water will be provided.

For your comfort and safety, please note:

• Participants should be confident and comfortable in water

• You must be able to walk down to and back up from the river using steep stairs

• The natural terrain can be uneven and slippery

• Group size is limited to one family or a maximum of 5 people, helping to maintain a personal and respectful experience
